Squirrel Homicide

October 5th, 2006 by Josh

During my 15 minute breaks at work I usually go out side and walk around, it’s nice and refreshing. Today it was disturbing. As I was walking down the sidewalk right in front of a church I saw a squirrel coming towards me with something in his mouth, it was hard to see what it was from a distance. As I got closer I realised that it was another squirrel. And the alive squire was dragging the dead squirrel with his mouth! It was intense. Then when the squirrel noticed me he dropped the dead squirrel and just stared at me, they usually run off but he just stared at me. I had to actually walk around the little bastard.

As I continued on my way I seemed to see squirrels everywhere, in trees, in the grass, just staring at me, taunting me with their little squirrel-like noises. I was afraid that a rogue squirrel would fly off of a branch and land on my face, triggering all the other squirrels in the neighborhood to join the attack. I thought squirrels ate acorns and other nut variations, not their own kind, and dabling on the possibility of chewing on humans for a little while. I may never look at squirrels the same way again.

I also had to look up how to spell squirrel, the word, like the animal is deceiving.
